As long as you stick to hard pack, grass, dry thin mud, they're great and offer better traction than just sliding around in street tires.
Anything more like wet mud, or deep soft dirt or sand, they're almost unusable because the treads are not deep enough to dig in.

That is a rad scoot you got there. I love those DRZ and one of these days I'm finally going to take the plunge and get into adventure riding. Just need to figure out how to squeeze a few more hours into each day.
