Hello, I bought the Shoei GT-Air helmet two days ago. I'm gonna skip all that ballast and talk right about the issue. The problem is I can't decide if I should put a velcro strip on brand new helmet or not. Is Dual Lock from 3M easily removable in case of the possible warranty return? The other problem goes with the first along. I just don't want to disfigure quite nice helmet with such large velcro strip (almost 8x4 centimeters). I think I could use the short Drift mount (similiar to the GoPro one) but I'm not sure how it can hold in higher speeds even when fixed with Dual Lock. Does anyone have experience with this kind of setup? I realy don't want to paste such a long airstrip made of Dual Lock :/

Well I realy don't want to secure the mount right to the helmet. I want to have it detachable just how I had it. It's all about the decision :D

You can very easily remove 3m adhesive by using a hairdryer, leaves no trace.

That's what I wanted to hear, thanks :) I'll try the short mount first. I can add aditional pieces of Dual Lock anytime.

i used velcro mount untill i was happy with the spot, then i decided to use the 3m mount after i found it can be permanently fixed a little bit higher :)

I was playing with different angles already.

Damn, I'm surprised! This short strip holds like teeth and nails. I even tried to slap large curved mount to it and I was barely able to pull it off. I thought I will brake the mount on two pieces. It's far more secure than standard velcro. Let this be an answer for anyone with same doubts like I had.
