first i want to say i'm sorry because i'm bad at english hehe.

back to topic. i want to start doing motovlog, but i need suggestion, which one is better between iSaw Edge and Drift Ghost S. i dont have money to buy GoPro so the alternative is iSaw Edge and Drift Ghost S. i searching for iSaw Edge, this camera is head to head with GoPro Hero 4. but never found motovlogger using this camera. Drift Ghost S, yeah i know many motovlogger using this camera for motovlogging, concern of this camera is the size, because it's larger than GoPro. oh yeah i want to use this camera not just for motovlogging, i want to use it for take moment for family and friends too.

so i need suggestion for the camera please.
thank you and sorry because my very bad english.

I've never heard of the iSaw, but maybe get a second hand GoPro? I looked of the iSaw price at £200-320, should be able to get a hero 3+ black/silver second hand for that money.

in my country (Indonesia) i can get this iSaw for US$190, same for Drift Ghost S.
but it's so hard to find Hero 3+ second hand in mint condition.
so i prefer a new camera than a second hand.
but if i can find a hero 3+ in mint condition, it will be another alternative.

thank you.

with the amount of accessories and support available, you cant go wrong getting a gopro

yeah that's right, but the price for a new gopro(hero 4) is just too expensive for me hahaha

I know all the GoPros in Indonesia are imported and it's rlly expensive for the salary you earn there. It's good, but it's not worth it if you cannot afford one.

I personally use a Drift Ghost S, because I can get 3 hours of consecutive recording at 1080p 60 FPS. And I believe it is still going to be the king of battery life among action cams.

But as far as quality of video is concerned, I'm pretty sure the iSaw Edge is better.

If you want something that is slightly good as a helmet motovlog cam + general purpose videocam, get the iSaw.

But if you have the money to spare, it is a better idea to use the Drift Ghost S for the helmet cam as I feel battery life and the mounting posture of it is more useful. And then buy a separate camera like the DJI Osmo for taking videos away from the motorcycle.

I have a gopro 4 silver and it's buggy as all hell, freezes, crashes I'm getting rid of it.
So now I'm trialling a Firefly 6s which cost $100 AUD. it claims upto 4k 24fps (interpolated)
Quality of the video seems ok!

I use a Ghost-S and am very happy with it. It looks good on the side of the helmet too, instead of having a square block hanging right next to your head. Unless you want to mount it on the front of your helmet. Then the GoPro styled camera's are the only option.

Perhaps the SJ camera, I lost touch with what series it is on now, the last I knew of was SJ4000 with wi-fi.

I use the Sony HDR-AS200 and at half the price of a GP4 it is excellent value for money and with the right adaptor you can use all the gopro accessories.

If the iSaw is a GoPro clone it might not have mic input. That's a common issue with the less expensive GoPro clones.

Have a sena prism tube...works well for beginners, good video quality and its cheap. Good buy if you don't know how serious you will get.
