Riders fault?

Oil patch? Caught grip very sudden, thats the harder part once it catches grip. Reacted well & fast. These type of 'situations' we learn from & become more aware next time. You go out afterwards? Hope it didnt knock the confidence too much.

Nah but the bike away I should really learn it happened before in the wet, the back tyre that time though.

Nice save! dont help it was wet, plus braking over road paint is even worse + Moped breaks not that great

Well recovered. I once had a front wheel skid in Spain on a mountain pass where sand had fallen down the side onto the road as I was going around a bend. Luckily I was only doing 40 on an hire bike. It was on the deck in seconds and me too.
