Serious My Porn & Alcohol Addiction

The bearded dude with a cool YouTube

It's difficult to post this, but it's something that happened in my life and it's nothing to be ashamed of. I'm here as a sober man, haven't had even a beer in two years and haven't watched porn for about one year.

As a side note, I give credit to my recovery to God. I'm not forcing religion on anyone just sharing my story.

Not the 'normal' promotion.

This is a video that could be classed as sensitive and maybe not one to listen to with a kid on your lap.

I'd also like to note - Some may not agree with what he says, that's OK - However, your opinions are welcome, forcing your opinion that you feel is more right than his, isn't!

Such an honest video and that is why I've promoted it.

Good luck to the person, great to hold your demonds back. Not sure I would have shared it myself, as to me somethings are a personal journey and the world doesn't need to know my personal matters.

You could argue that abuse shouldn't be shut away as well to fair.

It's something that's been shut away far too long and the 'victims' shunned.

Look at the BBC for example... now it seems like an everyday thing of people speaking out. I'd say it's not just become more of a thing they 10/20/30 years ago it's just that people, thankfully are talking about it which in turn is making people think twice, maybe

I owned a foreclosure inspection company for 5 years, the two things that were most commonly seen when entering a vacated house were empty bottles of booze and porn, followed closely by empty gaming boxes... after meeting with many of these guys they will tell you that the addictions are real and they are life and family destroying roads to go down.

It wasn't an easy decision, I made this numerous times and deleted it thinking it's too much to put out there about myself. Especially since I have shown my face on my channel. I decided to share because I know sexual abuse happens to men just as much as it does to women, however society tries to tell us that we are wimps for trying to talk about it. I remember getting a little older and trying to reach out about what I was going through only to be made fun of. Popular culture also says it's normal for people to watch porn, which is also a lie. I would really suggest checking out fightthenewdrug.org for the science behind it all. Even if this video only helps one person it's worth it to me. :). Thank you for the support! :)

Society is taking the humanity away from humans. Strangely I've said that a few times this week

It's very true. If you step out of mainstream ideology than you're often ridiculed for it. I see it like swimming upstream, the harder you push the more resistance you get. If you're not strong enough eventually you'll give up and go with the flow. You just have to dig deep, keep your head up and keep on pushing.

I share my long defeated alcohol and drug addictions with people whenever I have the chance. I have never shyed away from telling even my kids as it's part of life and you just can't expect it not to appear somewhere in their lives at some point in some way. Idk if I could make a YouTube video but maybe after watching yours I just may. I love to think I am a good ear when someone needs help and I offer it with open arms to those in need.

That's awesome man. Yes I believe it's very good and healthy to be open with our children. It builds trust and lets them know you can relate to what they might be going through. I'm glad you got sobered up man, congratulations.
