I laugh now, but I have done the EXACT same thing before. It was the first time I had taken my new RockHopper out and my first real MTB, and I had just installed clipless pedals two days prior. Combine all of that and severe fatigue, I set off after taking a break and within the first couple pedal strokes I hit a little rock on the trail and flying over the bars I went! Crappy part about it was we were at the top of the climb for a three mile downhill section and the crash busted up my hydraulic front brake.

Crashing the MTB left me with some rash, and my recent attempt at running in the mornings resulted in running off the road and spraining my ankle pretty good. I have come to a similar conclusion. I'm just going to accept being fat!

When it all happened another mate photoshopped the hand on the cast. About 100 odd bikers used the photo as their profile photo
