You should check the manual for yours, but all 4 of the bikes I've owned have required the bike to be on the sidestand and only just recently shut off (in the last minute or so) before checking the oil. I'd be willing to bet that setting yours up on the centerstand for an hour before checking it, without having had the engine running, gave you a false reading.

Trinith has got it bang on if the engine has not been running you won’t get an accurate reading + there was probably still a bit circulating around the engine because you quite right if there was none your engine would seize within 20 or so mile (probs less).

I used to have a little black CBF125 great little bikes, i do miss her dearly, her name was gemma and her life was cut tragically short after she got ran over in a car park, sniff sniff

but one thing i would say is make shore you keep an eye on the oil level, small hondas are infamous for burning a little more oil than most, check it once a month and you’ll be fine ;)

You got me worried now that i have gone the other way and potentially over filled my bike!!

So read the manual, check it again, and find out. :)

A bit extra won't hurt, btw. A lot extra can be bad though.
