I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

This road has had its fair share of fatal bike and car accidents in the past, and admittedly I have pushed my 250 pretty hard through this exact turn. I do not know the circumstances that caused the victim to lose control and I don't want to speculate out of respect for the family. But man, it definitely hurts when it's someone you know who loses his life while on two wheels, and my friend and his brother (who both ride) are understandably devastated.

I guess with all of the fun we have motovlogging, sometimes the reality that what we do is dangerous can be lost until something like this happens.

Ride safe, everyone.

Very sorry to hear about this, mate.

Indeed.

Take care out there.

Thanks to both of you, the words do mean a lot.

Miggs: Sorry to hear about your crash. You mentioned that you suffered a concussion. I was going to make a vlog about concussions, because I have had four of them, (three from HS (American) football, one from snowboarding). I'm not sure how they treat concussions down there in South Africa but here I was made to take a cognitive test called an IMPACT test that can be used to baseline my normal brain activity and if I have another concussion, it can be pulled up to quickly check the severity of the brain injury. Hope you get back on 2 wheels soon.

Sorry to hear about the accident.

You are right. This is defiantly not a safe activity.

Personally if I do die on my bike. I would want the world to know that I died doing what I loved and I didn't regret a single thing.

Ride safe guys :D
