You're telling me every pair of boots give you cramp? Right.

At what point did I say every pair? *sigh*

I don't wear boots because they give me cramp. That's what I said.

calm down calm down!

I think it's probably time we left Mysterious alone, we all may find it silly not to wear boots but after all they are his feet.

I know what you're talking about. I was born with shortened Achilles tendon on right leg and thus my foot was twisted inside. Surgery was needed and there was a chance I'll never walk properly (only with crutches). Thankfuly the surgery was successful and now I can walk without problems but I still can't strain my right leg much because the scar can hurt as fuck. To the point - I have really big problem finding proper boots and sometimes even sneakers. I could never go skiing or skating because those thight and inflexible boots gave me quite a pain and cramps, not talking about grazed skin to the blood. 30 minutes and I feel nothing than pain coming up from the heel. Same thing with proper biking boots. Now I use modern military boots from Magnum for riding. They are lot better and comfortable than regular biking boots while still keeping quite protective nature (they were designed for military use after all).

Haha... MysteriousVlogger, always trying to stir people up! Lol. Looks like you came fairly close to one of those parked cars! I bet that got the adrenaline pumping.

I think these are the kind of things that you live and learn from, most people can think of a time where they'd change something, if it was me in that video I'd be thinking....

No silly speeds in the wet, gloves and other protective stuff at all times ( nothing is guaranteed to work but it may help), judge the surroundings better... Parked cars, any could pull out at any time (and looking at it, the one that did, caused you to have this mishap, not saying that the car ws at fault)

Least you walked away with just a cup of "fucking hell" :)

I think the trouble with this incident is that it's not something to live and learn from. Common sense dictates you don't do that, the fact you need to almost faceplant a car to realise not to means you shouldn't have been on that motorcycle in the first place.

Motorcycles require an attitude.

I'm not saying you have to faceplant to learn from it, I only mean now that it has happened, the rider can learn from the error.

yes common sense may have been lacking, but we can't change the fact that it has happened, so therefore it is something the OP can learn from.

like in my crash, I think I'd have been prepared for the driver to pull out, but not for them to d a uturn... I've learnt to expect the unexpected due to this. that doesn't mean I want everybody to go out and go through what I've been through, but to use my experience or Mysterious vloggers experience as a tool for future reference :)

Give the guy a break he was wearing almost full gear apart from the boots, he did a stupid thing but owns up to it and shows it shamelessly which I think should be recognized.

I wouldn't have posted that video in a million years yet it helps any biker realise crashes can come out of virtually anywhere. Go too fast, be surprised, brake a bit too hard, loose everything. Scary.

Yes he was speeding but haven't we all? I've seen vloggers riding a lot more dangerously than that get a hell of a lot less flack for it. Doesn't mean it's okay, but it's his life after all.

The fact he was wearing gear SAVED his hands and knees apparently.

Oh and one last thing: shows how useful ABS can be.
