My beloved companion, the one that guided me when I'm lost, that woke me up, that entertained me when I was bored, and kept me company when I was lonely is dead. I tried reviving several times, but to no avail. It is gone now.
What to do?
Farewell, my beloved Galaxy S I9300.
Now.... I got a novel idea.
Ima gonna park the bike on a busy shopping mall. Then Ill leave the phone on top of the bike, "forgotten".
I'll be in a nearby car (thank god for the tinted windows on the rear seasts), filming.
Inside the phone (on the rear cover, over the battery) will be a small note with a youtube link.
The note will read something to this effect:
"Congratulations on stealing a phone! You can see yourself stealing on this youtube video: <link>".
That link will be an unlisted vid of me chastising the robber, and then linking to the real vlog of him (which Ill upload when this experiment is done).
I also hope to catch people grabbing the phone, then delivering it to the security guard which is right inside the door of where I'm gonna park. (or to the Shopping Mall's lost & found).
Any ideas of a more creative use of a dead phone?
Any advice for the implementation of this vid?
I'm gonna have to carefully think of where I'm gonna put the cameras, as the GoPros dont film well over large distances, and I dont want the camera to be stolen with the phone...
