So here are my two babies. The vespa is mostly for commuting, and the BMW is for weekend riding (hence it only has 1000km although she is almost a year old)
I never ridden any S1000R, but I guess they serve two different purposes. S1000R, is a very lovely machine, with a very high tech suspension, traction control, and so on. I guess if you like to go fast (like very fast), do a track day, i guess you better off with the S1000R. R nine t, is on the other side of the spectrum. Its got much lower power, no high tech stuff, but on the other hand, the looks of R Nine T will last forever. R nine t is about simplicity and S1000R is about high performance. Both are good bikes, but they serve two different purposes
