Hey guys, i would like to mount my gopro hero 3 inside my full face helmet, now I know it's possible because R1Chronicles does it, it looks like he has something very secure on the bottom of the gopro. What it is I don't exactly know... I wanna be discreet with my GoPro because California police will pull you over for anything and I don't want them harrassing me, lol.

I guess first you want to see if you can fit the GoPro in your helmet..without the protective case of course. I guess it would be better if you could fit it in your helmet with the protective case to protect the lens, but you wouldn't get as good audio. But if you can fit the GoPro in your helmet sitting on the brim of the helmet behind the faceshield...I guess a little section of velcro could do the trick if you have some space on top of the bar to adhere it to. A while back, people would use velcro on the bottom of their point and shoot camera and stuck Velcro somewhere in there helmet to stick it to so it wouldn't bounce around. Just experiment until you can find something that works for you.

Wow that's actually a great idea for what I needed to do, of course if I crash without the case the gopro will be ultra vulnerable. Maybe I should mount it on my chin for now, and move up to the discreet mode when I'm a better rider. :)

The biggest concern I was thinking about for the GoPro not being in the case is the lens of the camera marking up against the visor. But it may or may not leave markings on the lens, I don't know.
