Motovlogging Youtubers Hello

Any Motovlogging Youtubers out there, just wanted to say hello and maybe lick our wounds together as it is a fickle affair

I think pretty much all of us on this site are YT Motovloggers. There may be some other platforms. It's fun, but YT is so fickle. I've dealt with them for numerous projects and podcasts outside of motovlogging and they ding you for literally everything.

,I'm gonna go ahead and agree with @Roky - gear malfunctions! I've battled GoPro's Hero 10 for a while [but I think I got it fixed] lately, but have had every mishap there is - and all of the user-generated issues too.

If all the gear worked all the time, motovlogging would be easy!

I also have to agree with @HippoDrone too - variety and new topics can be hard to think up! I've gone from talking about bikes to talking about whatever, and just being goofy behind bars... and it seems to be working, so I'll keep doing that :D

What do you find most challenging about motovlogging?
My answer to this is: "Growing my channel while making videos I want to make."

The types of videos I enjoy making the most usually perform the worst. The best way I've found to grow my channel is to focus on bike test ride videos, yet I much prefer exploring new roads and places. I've pretty much decided to ignore trying to "grow my channel" and to instead simply make the videos I want to make and let nature do its thing.

Motovlogging isn't an easy genre to create a profitable YT channel about. You really need to motovlog for the love of it and not for the fame or success of it. Sometimes reconciling those differences can be difficult.

Dude, I feel the SAME WAY! I do about 90% vlogs, with some other stuff mixed in. The 10% non-vlog videos get 90% of the subs and views, but the vlogs are fun to make, and I use them as practice for new editing and recording techniques, so I know more about the editing and equipment reviews. THEN, I hope that people who sub for the reviews check out my vlogs, for the personality. I don't know if it works, but so far, so good.

When your cameras/gear play up. This weekend has been a challenge for me. My external mic didn't work and half my audio only recorded on the left channel, so it's been hours of trying to fix audio.

Live and learn I suppose.
Throw it into Davinci Resolve, and you can merge the audio channels. Mine does the same, so I set the right channel to embed the left channel.
