Sorry it tickled me when I saw member Californian had made his own site ;)

Looks like not much is going on there. I considered starting a new motovlogging site when this one seemed to be dying before changing ownership a while back. I actually own the domain motovlogger.com. I've tried to come up with some ways to use the domain without being a clone of this site. I think it's silly to start another site if it doesn't add anything unique.

What the heck? I wonder why someone decided to make another website that serves no different of a purpose than this one. This community is pretty small already, why try to separate it even more?

Because some people are silly sausages.

Everyone wants to have control and everyone thinks they can do something better than everyone else. Maybe they can, but hardly anyone is going to even check out that site because this one is good enough, has a lot of history and everyone already knows it and is established on it.

I'm also on an Australian supermoto site which is a small community and that has 3300 registered users. This site has only 900 registered users and its a world wide site. I cant see any alternative site being successful without killing both. The community is just too small. (Unless theres another active portion I dont know about?).

the viewers lets make a forum for them (jk)

AFAIK, there's only one other motovlog - themed forum that is significantly larger than this one that I'm aware of, but it is focused, for better or worse, on one particular personality.

Which is why this forum was created in the first place.

And for a while we were fearing that the facebook motovlog groups would make this forum irrelevant, but it appears there's under 150 people in each one that I know of. More posts are made over in the FB groups than over here each day, but it seems to be the same few people interacting.

THe motovlog subculture is definitely interesting, to say the least...
