I was just looking at a touring bike hire for a few days, possibly to head to Wales, but it is so ridiculously expensive. It's more expensive than a camper van!

Bikes seemed to range from £125 to >£200 a day. (plus a £1500-£1750 deposit)
Camper van ranged from £50 to <£90 a day. And no need to pay for a hotel after that.

There's a business if anyone has the start-up capital.

I'm renting these little babies out for a song if you're still interested. Personal insurance is real cheap with these lovely ladies but riders ARE required to have their tetanus shots updated!
