Most Interesting Stats on your YouTube Analytics

I was looking at my Analytics just now trying to find the times that most people watched my videos and come across some interesting stats that I would never have guessed.
These are taken using LAST 28 DAYS.

Interesting Stat 1
Over 45 years of age, almost 100% of my videos are watched my men exclusively.
BUT in the 18-24 age range 12% of them are female. This goes down to 5% for 25-34 and then 2% for 35-44

Conclusion = Younger ladies love me!! :cool: Ok, seriously, does this not show a growing increase in motorcycle imterest amongst females in this generation (like Tattoos)?


Interesting Stat 2
Video CARDS perform half as good as End Screens, even though very few people make it to the end.

Conclusion = YouTube need to come up with a better way of intra-watching promotion.

Percentage views by Devices:

Computer
51,121 (54%)

Mobile phone
31,315 (33%)

Tablet
7,640 (8.0%)

TV
4,758 (5.0%)

Game console
918 (1.0%)

I am surprised Phones are not higher.
Also, I had a deeper look and the Device that has the longest View-Tme on average is TV !!

Conclusion: People still love the comfort of sitting on a chair or sofa.

I hate watching via my phone, so tend to just binge when I am home on my PC, I also never watch on my TV.

I apparently didn't have any female viewers in the last 28 days, although I know I did, but they were probably watching on someone else's account.
I don't think I have ever clicked on a video card mid vid.

Yeah, I dont think theere is much to learn from looking at YouTube stats per se. Just interesting.
Now I have benchmarked it I will try and keep an eye on it. See which videos appeal to females the most.

Maybe I need to drape half nude over the side of a motorcycle for the main pic :)
 
About the video cards. I usually keep watching the video until end and when I then remember, that there was something else I wanted to see, I seek quickly through the video, to find the link. But I don't always remember, when I'm done with that video.

I´m part of your 5% on TV mode, i Watch youtube 50% on mobile and 50% on TV
 
By the way i didn't find any female the last lapse, and i lost 3 subs in the period i didn't upload any vid :(
 
How do you find using a TV for interacting on others YouTube vids?
A very interesting question ... I have two personal rules while on youtube, vids that deserve a complete experience of being watched: on my TV, research and obviously comments, likes are played on my phone, that's why i can infer that is 50% -50%
 
For a while (when I first got my KTM) over 50% of my views were from around India. I imagine a lot of my subs come from that region too.
Same. My KTM related videos especially for the Duke/RC 250/390 seem to have more viewing from India.. I guess Bajaj taking over KTM and producing the smaller KTM bikes in India may be the driving interest.
