More Than One Mic Drift.

This is a cool idea. I hadn't considered it. When I wired my GoPro adapter I kept it stereo, even though my mic is dual mono. I might look into something similar. Thanks for sharing!

Any issues with volume drop or noise due to auto gain control?

Well there does seem to be some drop off at times when the bike is very noisy bar that seems good so far but waiting on new mic to see if its any better.

Hmm Ive been wanting to do this as well but I cant seem to find a splitter that is the same size as the Drifts microphone jack. Think its 2.5mm and not 3.5mm?

Loads of tape as was testing out what was causing some crackle and wanted to be sure it wasnt the tape getting lose.

Anyhow, splitter is at the bottom 3.5mm that feeds off to two mics, one to front of helmet (Drifts own) the other is tucked into the rear (still testing positions). As the Drift has a 2.5mm jack there is also and adapter on the drift to upscale that to 3.5mm to fit all this. Works well so far but Like said in other posts I am experimenting with placement and different mics to see if I can improve the sound but this may also be limited to the Camera's audio processor :(

I tried my mic by the ear as well but at high speed you get an insane amount of wind noise. Not sure if you have experienced that yet?
