Mic Splitting Isn't Working.... Halp?

So I recently got a Sena SMH10 and wanted to plug another mic into the Drift (with the extra mic sitting over the Sena speaker) to get dualvlogging. I bought an audio/mic splitter (1 male into two females) and rigged everything up. However, both mics wont work at the same time. They work fine individually on the splitter, but wont work together. Anyone know what is up? Can the Drift not handle both mic lines coming in?

Could be impedance issues.

Fixed. I was using a stereo splitter when I needed to be using a mono splitter.
