M13 Down!!

Anyone may freely open a thread on any forum abut anyone they like on any basis. It is not the position of site owners to censor these posts, which has not been done. A duplicate post was made by another member which was locked to focus the discussion in to one place, which was the correct thing to do.

To blanket email everyone about an issue that pretty much everyone is already aware of is not going to be beneficial. I'm not a fan of getting emails from forums. If I want to know what's going on within a forum, I'll log in, if I'm not logging in, there will be a reason, and I'll catch up when I can.

As for supporting vloggers, this forum I am sure would be there to help its members. Is M13 a member on here? Not that I can find, and not an active one if he is.

Donating should be a personal choice. Awareness of the incident and help campaign is running high, many vloggers large and small have put up videos about it, and you'd have to follow virtually nobody not to be aware of it. Thunderous 71 did a vlog on it saying if you can't or didn't want to donate cash, just go watch some of his vids to keep the ad revenue up for hum. Superb idea I think.

Absolutely!

But as he's a friend of mine, I do want to make an extra effort.
He doesn't make as much out of this vlogging malarkey than everyone thinks, in fact his revenue is dropping due to the influx of the true 'reckless = views' type vloggers.

No-one has to help, but I wanted to just make aware those who do not know and would like to help the guy out, he really is a good man.

I helped out another mate on FB who had developed cancer and was a victim of the American's barbaric healthcare system......I'd help anyone who's actually impacted in a good way on my life :-)

It's the right thing to do.

I can't believe the catty nature of some vloggers I've seen. The guy is going to have one shitty year at least of getting literally back on his feet, who knows when he will get back on a bike. Show some fucking repect to a fallen biker and stop bitching. If you don't want to help out, keep it to yourself. Those that have given their half arsed lame excuses (or pretty much took the opportunity to sink a knee in while his down) for not helping will be remembered and when Murphy's law comes knocking and they go down in a serious stack and they find themselves posting about it here or on facebook or a video. While your lying there in hospital just remember back to when you posted that bitchy comment about not donating to M13, yeah I wouldn't even bother telling anyone you went down. - rant over

You're entitled to your opinion. But what if a smaller lesser known Vlogger went down, nobody would be posting about it.

Think about that while they'd have absolutely zero to fall back on because nobody would donate.

So before you rant, think about if it had been a new person to the fold who only had a handful of subs. You know that 99% of people would just ignore the news if they heard it, so don't wax lyrical about what a bunch of twats the people who aren't donating are. Everyone wishes him a successful and speedy recovery.

Not some of the posts I've seen they haven't. You think about who got you into vlogging chances are they or you yourself were inspired by M13. Motovlogging as we know it today traces back to him. I don't care if your M13 or SneakyBroadcast if there I hear about a serious crash I help out where I can.

The person who got me into vlogging did motorcycle training vids. I'll be sure to ask him where he got the idea from.

I'll agree with you that wishing ill publicly is far from good taste, but I don't see how every vlogger alive should feel obliged or be bullied to donate.

That video shows a landrover cutting across my path, and because iw asnt looking behind me i saw it, im not saying the guy is a bad guy never spouted anything like that, just because i wont be donating to himdoesnt mean i wish him hateful things as i said i hope he pulls through fast, but i much rather give to charitys more deserving in my opinion, why does this 1 man deserver this much charity over 1000s of people who are maybe just as nice as him and maybe more deserving. Its not like i created a campaign of hate towards him and tried to get people not to give. And i have crashed a couple times, i didnt beg charity, never asked for a penny off anyone, i as a responsible adult got life insurance to cover me for riding a motorcyle As anyone knows is a dangerous thing to ride

its really sad i know he was one of the first out there and hes put a lot of time into motovlogging. i know im going to donate. i also hope he gets back on his feet soon
