What do think of the low down Drift Mount on the ZZR with the microphone clipped inside the fairing next to the engine?
It's very wet and looks quite dramatic over the downs. We also have to dodge a guy who has stopped his car in a set of 60mph bends for a pee!

It's not bad for getting the bike noise, maybe get the mic further back to get the lower end of the exhaust note?

Was yours one of the ones that came with Arkas fitted?

Hi Lurch, I agree I should get it nearer the exhausts,going to buy a longer 3.5 mic lead. It hasn't got akro's but still a lovely sounding pair of Scorpions. Its such a big engine 1440 it growls very nicely with the baffles out.

It's a great sounding exhaust, I wish I'd got longer on my mate's one, although needed to be out of London to try it properly!

I have just brought a 3 mtr microphone extension cable so should be able to get the mic near the exhausts, but somewhere out of the wind.

Agreed, the mic reaches back to helmet for Vlog. But the camera mounted on helmet on a ZZR gives a very choppy picture. Suspension makes head shake
