looking into getting a 1000...thoughts??

I would say if you have never ridden a "sport" bike, don't just jump straight to the 1000. I know when I went from my Ninja 650R to an R6 the power jump was insane. I know that I'm nowhere near being able to take my R6 to it's limits, and until that point I don't plan on getting a liter bike. I personally think that you should take it step by step with the performance bikes. The only thing I see happening with a liter bike is getting into a dangerous situation even faster. That being said, I'm not familiar with your riding experience. If you have been riding for a while, I don't doubt that you can handle a 1000cc bike, but I also think it's more rewarding to ride a less powerful bike well than it is to ride a powerful bike like crap. Just my $.02.

thanks for commenting...I have been a sport bike before several of them from 600 to moded 900.. the power of a 1000cc is not a real issue for me I have the experience to handle it. the issue I am talking about in the vid. is basically the price and value of the 07 cbr1000 if it would be worth it.
