Local roads are a death trap

So about 2 weeks ago I noticed that one of the major roundabouts near me had a huge car wide petrol spill around it. You could smell it from a mile away, it was like a lorry had purposely drove around with the fuel cap off its that bad. A week later I notice that 4 other roundabouts had the same thing but worse, all pretty close to the other one. Thats now a couple of miles worth of road completely coved in petrol, luckily the weather has been really nice in the past few weeks but I dread to think what is going to happen the day it rains. All these roads are going to be death traps, has anyone else noticed anything like this recently?

While going round a roundabout in my town I noticed a huge pile of sand that council workers had dumped on the road to try and clear up the fuel spill… problem was it was a couple inches deep, but thankfully the outside lane was empty and I was able to avoid it.

We have a T intersection here covered in what is probably tranny fluid. Looks like someone blew the tranny cooler line and dumped a bunch in one spot them took off and made a nice mess down the road. I've been avoiding that spot for a few days now waiting for the cagers to run it down so it's not as slick. I slid the front tire on it a little and about shat myself from the scare of having my front wheel slipping sideways with traffic all around me. I ran thru the gravel on the side of the road for a little while to get the coating off my tires.

Roundabouts round my area are so bad, they are rough surface and are very hard to lean round safely, its horrible.

Olympics > Our roads (Sad truth)

Around here some time ago there was a psycho who threw wine bottles filled with old engine oil in all the blind corners.
btw: in Germany, most accidents happen on the smaller roads.

A man (husband and father) even died due to that incident, I don't know if the police ever got the mad guy responsible for this.

 gotta love the difference between proper English and US English sometimes!

I'm pretty sure I just speak some random form of Southern American(not the continent) using English as my root language. Kinda like Latin is for other languages. :D

Wow the wine bottle thing is horrific, why would anyone feel the need to do such a thing. Once I was riding along and on the blind corner was a cupboard just left in the road. Luckily nothing was on the other side of the road and I swerved around it.

Sounds like someone is out to get you.
