Live Tracking And Video Streaming Worldwide

We have been working with the tornado chasers in the USA and now work with thousands of vloggers who want the world to see what they are doing. From extreme sports to weekend motorbike rallies. We invite all the Moto Vlog forum members to join us at no cost to live stream their videos by simply using their Android smartphone whilst being live tracked. Just Google tracknwatch to see what its all aboutt.

Hi EDcase. I think this provides a great opportunity for bloggers to really get a great following and we track ourselves 18 hrs a day and stream live video of weekend harley trips and have up to 3000 viewers sometimes. Even shows the weather :-)

No advertising whatsoever. No costs involved. All self funded and just fascinated by live streaming

What are the benefits of live streaming on this platform vs youtube, where people can actually find the stream?

You will see a group of severe storm chasers come on to the site in a couple of hours and that shows you how it all works. Have a Harley Group going for a ride this weekend in Australia showing some of the incredible Australian landscape

I am allowed to put the link on the site but just Google Tracknwatch and you'll find it. You can also download the app for Android. I think the Moto Vloggers will get a lot of fun out of it and great advertising for the cycle and car industry

I like the concept but am not sure I'd want folk to be able to live GPS track me.... the police could potentially use it as evidence for speeding etc and dodgy folk could use it to find out where you live/leave the bike etc.

This is a big thing - I have biketrak on my bike and I have speed logging turned off for a reason.

I wouldn't want thieves etc to see where I am either

I'm also going to watch this thread. I['m expecting sudden join up fee to be sprung up

Can you explain this a bit more?

"To apply for membership to the network please go to our website at https://tracknwatch.com and fill out one of the “Watcher Application” forms at the top of the page and we will contact you to discuss your application and the equipment you will need to obtain.

Please feel free to contact us at anytime to discuss your needs at info@tracknwatch.com"

In response to the above message can I first say that we are not a big company with myself and a very talented programmer working together to provide a platform which we are both very passionate about. We built the site over 2 years simply because there are so many big companies out there trying to squeeze money out of people and what you think is free ends up being a con. Firstly with the tracking you can turn it on and off so when you are on the road and ready to track and stream you turn it on. When you are on the way home you turn it off. There is no speed indicator and I'm sure the Police have better things to do that come up with an algorithm to work out your speed and then sit there day after day monitoring the site. To confirm, we are not going to introduce a fee.

How do we fund the site........???.....Tracknwatch has the ability to have private tracking and streaming embedded on a corporate/government website, mainly for emergency services and we get funding from them. We have over 150 general watchers as we call them on the site and none of them pay a single cent to us. I think before anyone makes judgement they should trial the site and then make judgement. Tracknwatch is not going to steal your identity and not hack into your bank account. We simply want to introduce a streaming and tracking platform where people can promote themselves.

All that you need to do is to fill out a watcher application by going to the Tracknwatch website with the link above I am quite happy to provide login details and you can try it yourself. if you don't like it, delete the app. To all the Moto Vloggers we look forward to watching some of the incredible videos I am sure you will produce. We would also like to thank the site owner for raising the points above.

All they need is a smartphone with the Tracknwatch app downloaded. Thats it. Android has more functionality at the moment but IOS is also fine.

Just downloaded

  • Seems to be USA only? (Flags can't be clicked, defaults to USA)
  • Only some features work if you disable location while while not using the app?
  • It's more of a live webcam site than anything vlogging
  • Only had about six streams in one area of America - found others by pinch and squeezing the map but no way to choose by country. A few off webcams
  • You can play videos from YouTube and just 'pretend' it's live, one video is.
  • No way to link up a camera via the app?

I like some of the free webcam services as I'm very much a people watcher (walking into some comments from members here). However they're not any good for vlogging as such. Wrong audience, more so with motorcycles as we're all paranoid about thieves and police etc.

I sometimes have a camera whacked on a badger set on my land, people love that but tend to only watch for a few minutes then go.

Thanks for the feedback and appreciate everyones input but we have no doubt hat this is the wrong forum for the app. We were hoping that a group might want to stream and track a rally or there may be a blogger who wants to tell his/hr story of a trip. All the best to everyone and there is no better drug that you can take than a ride on an open road.

I agree with all the comments,
Lack of being able to stream a helmet cam etc. Theft, cops etc. Would be some drama. I'd love to support your app, and help you gain a little publicity but .. there's just no way for me to stream through my phone (on the motorcycle).

I'd recommend charity events, since you're in Australia there are a fair few who go out and help the hungry/homeless, White Hats? something like that.. I remember watching. There are a lot of religious groups that go to Africa, feed the hungry etc. They wouldn't be concerned about getting booked, tracking, bike thieves etc.
