Led Lighting To Replace Odometer/speedo Backlight?

Hello,

Since I've gotten my odometer changed out with an older one (long story), the backlights for the odo- and speedometer, gas gauge, etc. no longer work, which is bothersome when trying to ride at night. Does anyone know of a low-key adhesive LED light or similar to stick to the inside of my windshield for night rides and where I could buy it? I'm hoping to purchase a KOSO gauge cluster (other brand recommendations welcome) at some point but I need a solution now.

Thanks for reading. :)

If you want to redo the backlight on the original speedo, there are drop-in replacement LED "bulbs" for that. I used that kind when the bulbs on the dash of my car stopped working. To replace the bulbs I took apart the whole dash, it was a mess so I replaced everything with LED's so it will last forever.
If you want some kind of lamp to shed light on the speedo, buy one element of white light strip (or red). It has 3 LED lights and goes directly to the bike's power. Some models include adhesive backing and even waterproof covering.
Be aware though, they're BRIGHT. You may even want to use just one LED of the strip (in that case, connect with 1K resistor in series to the bike power) or get the one with the small LED's.
Both strips here have waterproof cover and the tawny one has a block of LED's, each "LED" you see soldered has actually 3 LED's inside. They're the brightest you can get.

I don't think replacing the bulbs would work since the problem comes from the wiring compatibility. I was hoping for something that doesn't require me to access the battery, but I'll still look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.
