General Lane Splitting Like A Maniac And A Tram Crashes Into A Car

Red Viffer VTEC!
Here's a video on how I lanesplit and filter through traffic when in a hurry.
I don't recommend riding like me, but I know these routes very well because it's my daily commute to and from school.

This day I was exclusivly riding with both my panniers on the side, which widens my bike a lot more.

No talking at all because no Lav mic :)

Hey there you might of seen some of my posts on here before I randomly watch vloggs and normally point out feedback via a viewers view so to say.... <--- If you catch that.

But upon watching your video I was totally and utterly shocked to see the way you was riding... Not only was you being a total tool on your bike you put yourself and others at danger with you breaking the law and the steps which I mean are as followed below....

1. Mounting the centre reservation to pass an ARTICULATED LORRY because he didn't leave enough gap for you to pass was very stupid and irresponsible let alone ILLEGAL...

2. Tailgating cars in front of you not only did you put yourself in danger you put the driver of the vehicle in danger because if for any reason they needed to do an emergancy break no matter what you say you would have rear ended them... which could have been avoided if you stayed back as your supposed to...

3. overtaking an ARTICULATED LORRY on a roundabout let alone on his blind side how stupid can you get ? not only that just after passing him you decide to mount the path yet again to pass a vehicle that was slightly blocked by another vehicle stupid and illegal move yet again.

Although after your 5 minutes a pure daftness your video wasn't that BAD....

I just have to point you I own a car, motorbike and I also drive HGV's for a living and what you shown on that video if I was an officer I would throw the book at you and prosecute to the full extent not only does your choices doing that give fellow bikers a bad name it will also eventually catch up with you and possibly get you injured or even worse dead...

I'm sorry if you find this brutal but being honest I don't care because you have the younger generation online these days wanting to grow up and be mottovloggers and want the best bikes and so forth then they sit and watch a video like this and they think its ok.... very very poor.....

You are totally right, but:
- That small lane of central reservation is used to get to the other side of the road, so it is actually legal to use it, but you are right that overtaking a lorry so close is irresponsible.
From my point of view the tailgating isn't that bad, but it is still so close.
When you watch my other video of a car driver pulling out on me to make an illegal U-turn, you can see that there was barely 1 car lenght to brake, and at that time I was traveling at 58km/h.

The overtaking of an articulated lorry on the roundabout on the blind side was also a very stupid move, I agree on that. But taking the inside is also risky because of the trailer.

I am aware that the younger generation is trying to imitate people on the internet. I'll put in a disclaimer throughout the whole vid.

Thank you for being honest with me and don't encourage me to ride like a tool, because I'm also a bit of the "younger generation" that is always online. (I'm 21)

WOW I am actually shocked to the response to my post.....

Give you respect for that as I said it was only the first five minutes and 1 wrong doesn't make a right I am also a car driver and yes I admit it car drivers are not aware of the dangers as much as motorcyclists but yea you proved with that reply you do have a sensible head on you just keep safe and don't be another number on the death toll on bikes bud :)... The most experienced bikers on the planet can still be wiped out for being stupid..... and pushing their limits...... It only takes one person running across a blind spot or something blocking your path that you didn't anticipate to be there and that's it.... but yea respect I know myself am stupid at times on my bike but maybe I'm too safe for my own good lol.....

I still cant get my fucken mic inside my helmet to start my motovloggs I'm pissed off lol

Speaking as a former London courier I didn't see anything hazardous. So you broke a few rules and cut things fine but if you ride like that a lot you'll get skilled enough to do it with ease, without risks to other people. Semper, you're being ridiculously pedantic. Passing the artic on the roundabout was absolutely risk-free. My only criticisms are (1) use the left turn lane more to overtake traffic which is going straight ahead and (2) don't rev at people to get them to move out of the way. It's a little aggressive and antisocial and you can manage without it.

Just because you was a London courier doesn't mean the way you ride down there is the correct way and you can state that if he did what he done on his test date that he would have passed.... your talking shit.... there is countless videos all over youtube showing the exact danger of the manouvers that he did on this video and ended up with the bike being wrecked and the biker being injured just because nothing happened this time doesn't mean to say it wont next time.... and because you worked as a courier makes you more experienced in breaking the law.....?

And if you didn't see anything wrong in this video as in hazardous you shouldn't be even on a bike..... I have children and in this day and age all you see on youtube is bikers being careless and stupid even the rider admitted himself that some manouvers was stupid.....

It worries me that this modern culture deems it ok for a biker to do slightly stupid things and think it is normal my children will grow up and most likely watch videos like these and deem them ok....

Everyone throttles the bike from time to time I admit it but putting yourself and other in direct danger I am against and I express my feelings :) sue me...

I can't wait to read your comments when I start posting videos. You'd better not come to London, you'd have a heart attack.

That's a matter of opinion I would say we can argue till the cows come home but at the end of the day even on an advanced riding course that still would be pulled as a red flag your foolish to see no danger there what so ever but hey ho that's life you get people with different views on life... on to the next...
