have you tried unmuting it on the vid... because i noticed things on this channel start out muted for some reason. i have no problems hearing the audio.

I just watched the whole thing and the audio seemed fine.

I also had a clutch cable start to fail on me while on a ride. With some excessive adjusting it got me home though and then I made a long video of the repair. : )

Yes lane splitting is legal here. The official police term is "Lane Sharing" which is what is legal and the idea. I attended an open house event for a local dealer and they had CHP there giving a talk. I recorded some of it but haven't gotten the footage off my phone yet. Need to do that.

I feel that splitting is a good practice if at least to train riders to look for spaces rather than focusing on the bumper in front of them. I don't split every time I could, but I do split. Sometimes when it's for traffic, other times just to get a better/safer position depending on the situation.
