Serious Lane Splitting And Learner Burner - (motovlog Mach1 Aussie - Kawasaki Ninja 250)

Mach1 Aus

G'date mate. Nice bike.

A rider by the name of Mathew Sant in Canberra, Australia was stationary at the back of traffic and was hit by a distracted driver. The crash was pretty brutal but the dude is OK. It really highlighted to me the importance of lane splitting / lane filtering and why riders should all do it.

There is no such thing as a minor fender bender for a bike, so you have to reduce your risk by filtering / splitting when ever it is safe to do so.

Note: Lane splitting is NOT illegal in Western Australia although it is in other countries around the world in some states.

Also a nice incident with a learner driver cutting me off at the round about. It just highlights that both riders and drivers have to be more aware and tolerant of one another.

Yeah Thailand is ranked like 3 in the world for traffic deaths, because no traffic enforcement and shitty roads, pot holes the size of a small child lol....... But for the cars they seem to look and I look much more than them so I havent been smashed into yet......I have hit a dog going 120kph though...boy i went flying I guess he got caught in my wheel and fairing and made me do a super stoppie lol oh well im alive.........this was before I had a gopro sadly enough.
