I ride in Arizona, possibly the hottest state in the USA. I wear a black mesh jacket with built in armor and some riding pants. I don't get too hot with all my gear on. It's actually worse riding with no gear as the hot air hurts the skin lol.

Look for those alpinestars thermal jackets, they are mostly made out of nylon but still have armour in them. That's what I wear anyway, and they are cheap. The wind flows quite nicely through the jacket on a hot day.

It was 9 degrees at the mountain pass yesterday despite being 25 degrees in the plain. It's not too hot!

I wear a Joe Rocket Mesh Jacket and I sweat enough to be cool while riding. You could also get one of those UV/wicking shirts they make for outdoors type activities. I used to wear one while kayaking in 100 degree heat. I'd dunk myself in the water and while paddling in the wind I'd feel chilly.

It's too hot to ride in my summer leathers so Im looking for something cooler can anyone recommend and cheap armour I can buy so I can take all my cloths of and ride round naked?
