I know this feeling all too well, getting on the bike and being out for 3 minutes when the snow comes down heavier than I've ever seen it before, nightmare! Ah well, summer will be here before we know it boys/girls and the fun begins then!

True, and the alps and lakes in Spring/Summer are nothing short of amazing.

Plus I can travel 30 minutes and go skiing down some mountains so I shouldn't be complaining

The only type of situations that stopped me from riding are when it just snowed and roads are not plowed/salted yet and when subzero temps hit after rain. I was practically born into motorcycling in bad weather; when I picked up my first bike from the dealer (no previous riding experience aside from a few lesson when getting motorcycle license) it was during pouring rain and drive back home was around 60 miles. Yeah I was pretty scared, but couldn't wait any longer to bring my baby home.
