Intro Ideas

I could use some help thinking of intro ideas. As I'm sure other people do too. So I figured I would start a thread, Where people can post ideas and bounce ideas off each other.

Nah, I dunno. I want to do something for myself with some production value at some point. Maybe animated and recognizable.
I got the tools, so its just a matter of finding the time and taking on the challenge for me.

As for specific ideas, dunno. I love discussing them though.

I don't mind sharing ideas myself, too each there own. I don't have a lot of tools at the moment. But I have some thoughts. I kind of like slow motion and time lapse. Also I was thinking some kinda of collage of pics of my bike in one pic.

My main idea now is to use my new logo in some clever way, blending with a clip or something from the recording session I'm using.
/Drive does this a lot.

If I could be really ambitious I'd do some heavy video editing with stuff only seen in Marvel blockbusters. I should at least storyboard it I guess.

Your best bet is plain old pencil and paper, you don't have to be able to draw, but it helps. Generally, just map out each shot and action you want to show in frames and use it as a rough plan for your idea. Dunno how effective it would be for a collage though. Its more suited for scenes using multiple clips as in a movie.

Short and simple. A long boring intro can be the quickest way to lose a viewer

Your intro should be unique to you. It should (usually) be short and simple, yet still having that sense/mark that it's you. So you need to ask yourself what is it you like to portray for your intro?

If all else fails just rip off an intro style you like from some other YouTuber and custom it for yourself.
