What Ho! Tally Bally Ho and all that.
The sun was out and inspired an early morning vlog, on the GT mostly about YouTube, Copyright and Article13

Only just been able to get to this vid (sorry).
Personally, I think memes and short audio/video clips should be fair use, memes are entertaining, they rely on fair use and are a modern version of Spitting Image.
I think a lot of the mainstream media will have to start taking note of Article 13 too, they often rob clips off YouTube without permission and don't bat an eyelid about it.
I like the reason for Article 13, just not the solutions they are coming up with. Technically there are only a couple of vids on my channel which would be affected.... although I believe that the record labels have given permission to YouTube to allow them providing they get all the revenue from those vids.... which I am kinda ok with as I have used longer clips of music or even full songs on them.

Agree with you on mainstream media. Not good what they do, from the "security in size". Not worried about any of my videos, existing and future, but doesn't seem fair to potentially have one blocked because Youtube wants to be safe than sorry and goes about blocking stuff willy nilly, as they have warned might happen

YouTube is potentially not going to risk any content that has music unless there is some form of declaration on the description stating permission is received or all content is created by owner possibly.

Cheers mate. Glad you liked it I use Davinci Resolve 15 for editing, color correcting and grading.
