I'm really pissed off.

So, yeah,

It started on Friday, and I won't go into too many details, but I got into a fight at the side of the road, on my commute home, I was left uninjured, but it was a pretty harrowing experience.

On Saturday, I fitted £170 worth of Givi luggage to the CBR. It looked fantastic, and I was genuinely happy with it. However after doing only 15 miles with the luggage, it fell off, at 85mph. I wasn't happy, as it made me late to meet leedsrider in Peterborough. I hate being late.

And finally, this morning, I realised that my Scala rider had fallen off yesterday, while riding. I have no idea where, or when it happened. That £140 down the proverbial.

So on the whole, added to my crash, and my still painful leg, I'm not in a good mood.

When it rains, it pours. Hope you get through all this mate and that things get better.

All the best

Steve

Good call Friz!

Bikermole, that's just stuff that got damaged/broken/lost, you'll replace it or at least remember having it... and the rest of you well, you're still alive you're still walking and you'll heal or get stronger. :)

RE: Buying a bike and anything that'll go on a bike, the way I choose to look at it is: the value of it went away as soon as it went in my hands, when I finally get to sell it, someone is giving the value back to me.

£170 on bags/boxes and £140 on a walkie-talkie...

I've been going though some silly rubbish at the moment too mate, nothing so obviously bad, but I've had to live in 5 different houses in 3 months, lost a daft amount of money in over-priced rent in places I didn't want to live and a close friend is really ill ... and so on, ad infinitum!

The gist is (I I know how frustrating it is when people say this) you just have to take solace in the good stuff ... go for a nice long, relaxing ride at about 9/10pm when the roads are clear, find a friend with a puppy and sit on the floor playing with it for a bit ... see a hooker, whatever you can do to make you realise that not eveything is crap, and life goes on, and you only live once and all the other cliche laden BS that people sprout when things get out too much! It's cliche'd for a reason!

Hope that helps buddy! :)

My brain just exploded!

As long as you're ok, mate...

I know it's probably the loss of the hard-earned funds that gets you. Do you have home contents insurance? These things are sometimes covered by that...

Don't let the bastards grind you down, or something. What Friz said. Chin up. And other crap, annoying sayings that don't really help.

That sucks dude! I just managed to bend and twist my bike... In the most irritating way ever. It annoyed me to the point where I nearly hit a little kid.

Basically, the fight was over a van that swerved into me, I booted the door, he got out the van and started punching me in the head. So I headbutted him in self defence. I'm not proud, but I stand by my actions, even though I'm the least violent person you're likely to come across.

I live with my parents, and while they do have contents cover, I don't want to claim on it, as I don't want it affecting their premiums.

And to add to my misery, I slipped over at work today, and hit my head on the floor, and a barrow full of bearings landed on me. I have the worlds biggest headache. I need some Banana Muffin Cake to cheer me up :P

Did you not have a helmet on? and padded badass biker gloves? and a padded jacket? You know, you'd think someone would think twice about hitting a guy with armor on...

I was wearing all my gear, plus a hoodie under my jacket. He was blatently an idiot.

Let's turn that frown... Ah never mind just don't let life get you down mate, remember they say bad things come in groups of three, so a fourth bad thing is the start of the next group of 3  Just kidding mate take it easy things will improve ;)
