Over on a dump and run motovlog forum I pointed out that the rider the motovlogger saved by finding their dropped helmet also dropped wearing pants and went with shorts (skins grafts anyone?).

The motovlogger admitted they were wearing shorts too because is was hot that day.

So thus happened...

The best I can put against that is walking around trouserless in a town far from home.

While I continue to wear a half helmet, I wear all the other gear, 99.9% of the time. Only took one "got lucky" to convince me. Heck, I even have kevlar-lined riding pants now!
