Illegal to video the outside of a restaurant?

I feel like I owe you guys the full story about WHY I was recording my drive through. It was a Chick-Fil-A and I was doing a vlog about the recent controversy. I thought it would be more interesting to do the vlog while I was actually in the drive-through. I've since learned that there have been anonymous threats to employees, so I understand better their concerns.

Cool that the face-blur feature worked. I think that's understandable that with all their bad publicity lately they wouldn't want you recording. I go through the KFC drive-thru on my bike sometimes and the girls there are pretty cool with the camera. One of them is kinda cute, actually... I digress.

This is the kind of response I was dreading. If you do go there just to be a troublemaker, I'll delete the video and chalk it up to experience that people can't be trusted with this kind of thing.

No don't do that. I don't think I even live near you.y point is that the employee of that fast food joint needs to get off his high horse. By law he can't tell you to turn your camera off.

I've removed the link. It's not really necessary to see the video. I think this thread has served a useful purpose in bringing out some of the legal issues of recording while we ride and what our rights are and aren't. I want to thank everyone who has participated.
