I didn't get the Akra though, reason being price. Instead I got a programmable piggyback ECU that adds the same amount of power for a third of the price, and a whole heap of other accessories with the remainder of the price difference of the Akra.

But a full system and a power comander would of given you epic gains

Sure, but at the time there was no Power Commander for the Duke 390, only the PowerTronic Piggyback ECU. The Akra for my bike is 20% of the cost of the whole bike! A little expensive for 5hp.
