I just got myself a new lid....

After watching an @AndyManCam video a while back where he had gotten a new lid himself I was really tempted to bite the bullet and get the same lid but I changed my mind at the last minute. Am really glad I did as the shop that sells them sent me a code for a 50 Euro discount last week so holding off saved me a wedge of dosh!

The helmet is a Nishua Enduro Carbon, and it is bloody light and looks really well made. I've not been out on the bike with it yet, but have spent the morning trying to fit all the motovlogging gubbins to it.

Nice.. But the original design is from Uvex.. I think they are no more.. But yes, the original was Uvex.. Nice. I had one but traded it off.

Looks awesome. The thing i like about these helmets is that you can mount a hero session under the pointing bit (sorry not what the proper term is).

C2W does that with his icon, am not too keen on that as a mount position as it would be in my sightline of the road. I've actually removed the peak as it doesn't suit my Moto Guzzi with it on.

Nice helmet! Is it convenient to add/remove the camera to the front, or is it better to just keep it mounted and then carry the helmet with you if there's a need.

I have been making this superlight helmet less so, shouldn't need a battery or charge now for over a days riding, also have the advantage of illumination when I need it too!
