I Have A Dilemma

I have a dilemma... I created my name MaxMotoMan... then I realized that someone else has a YouTube channel with that name. But he's been inactive for 4 years. Should I change my name? I'm thinking I should so it's not confused with this other guy. Problem is, I will need to change my Twitter and website domain also

And probably my username on this forum.

It's hard to come up with a good name. But I'll think of something.

What do you all think?

If you like it just keep it. As you gain a following your name will be the one that pulls up when searched due to activity. I recently found out that someone had the same channel name as me but I am more active and I have the custom links already in place so if searched my channel shows up first.

If the other user has been inactive for 4 years I wouldn't worry about it at all. How many subscribers do they have?

I also linked my Instagram account but had to use a variation of the user name. So it's mmotoman

If he has zero subs it may be that he only has an account for watching and for subscribing to people and was never intended for content.
