General I Don't Know What To Do!!!

I AM REALLY STUCK I NEED SUM NEW EDITING SOFTWARE. iv been using avs for a wile but it goes pix elated and shit no mater what footage im now back to using movie maker because it allows it to come out in 1080P but i cant over lay and its driving me mad.

What are your PC specs?

I googled around a bit and it seems like the free version of DaVinci Resolve 12 is doing what you need. Never heard of this personally, as I use Premiere and After Effects mainly.
I hear Blender, the 3D software has a capable video editor as well. Worth a look.

Personally I would just get Sony Vegas or Premiere somehow, tons more support for them out there.

How about RAM? I guess 4GB, that tends to be the bottleneck with video editing, as it has to keep the source video in the memory when editing. And an hour of HD video is easily a GB on its own. and twice that in 60fps.

im running a 132gb solid state drive ram is old school every ones going SSD

Thats not RAM, an SSD is a storage device. The computer still has to load stuff from the SSD, like Windows and programs, onto the RAM, which is set up to be directly accessible by the CPU, without all the SATA controllers and stuff.
That said, SSDs are the fastest kind of storage, and def a good way to boost loading speeds on things.

You can press ctrl+shift+esc to get the taskmanager, click the "performance" tab and you'll see what you have to work with.

it shows 8gb but no were on the specs when i perches't this computer did it mention ram wtf

I don't think that's the problem then, might just be a settings issue. Make sure you find guides and tutorials on how to achieve the best results, I did a quick google and found a bunch of ways.
Someone mentioned Lightworks to me, could be worth a look.

il check it out thank you
if you are a student you can get a discounted price for adobe creative suite. thats what i use but i pay 50 a month for it. do you know what kind of gtx graphics card? maybe add some more ram, youll have a little better of a time.
