I honestly don't know how. I remember pulling the card ONCE to pull a family pic off but swore I had recorded more after that.

Went to grab and export the rest of the card and when I opened the case of the GoPro the card was split and hanging on by the outer decal/paint

Ouch.... I suppose it boils down to how bad you want it. I'm sure you could.fork out some cash to a computer whiz and recover it. I'd definitely be searching online for some quick fixes though.
