I cut up a cager!

So on the ride with Tigervlogger, I cut up a cager (twice in fact). I am shocked that I didn't even notice the first one and the second was close because he was annoyed by the first so sped up my outside to get in front as I move over. Watching the video back especially my friends (GreenNinja921) video where you can see the whole thing from someone else's perspective.
I have learned from this one and mistakes happen but I hope I never make the same mistake again!

It can happen so easily :/ Don't feel bad about it, you didn't cause an accident and you were polite and apologized. He should not have acted like that, he should have tooted you.

I did the same to a taxi today, I just completely missed him. I even did my shoulder check and missed him. He went ape s--t at me and I felt like an idiot.

After reviewing the footage I found out that he must have been doing about 70 and undertook me so he wasn't in my line of sight when I checked and I didn't see him in my left mirror. Needless to say, I dropped the sd card in at the police station on the way home and they agree with me and would like to "Talk" to the driver. His lucky day...

I'm not familiar with UK law and rules on the road, but each time you moved over that cager was moving up on your group faster than the rest of traffic. The guy really had a stick up his arse and prick for going on like he did.

Hopefully this freebie life lesson will get your to check your mirrors and over the shoulder a bit more diligently.

We've all done it, especially when following other riders, I've done it during instructions because you start to follow the rider ahead instead of riding yourself.

However I'm not letting this cager off so easily. He was clearly in a rush to get his child to or from school. His driving was extremely aggressive especially considering he's already noticed you cut him up and you've not switched off your indicator which means you could possibly be attempting another maneuver in a short distance.

I learnt fairly early on if a vehicle has signals on wait for that vehicle until it's safe to move past.

Well if it's anything I cut up a van... on my bike test. Yes, you can probably tell how my test went haha. Learned my lesson.

Poor lane positioning, and with that said, the white car was driving to fast in a stop and go situation before that round about. you did have the indicator on, even though it was left on after the fact, he should have seen your far left lane position and indicator and not been accelerating with the subsequent slamming of the brakes and road rage anger.

I am going to be in the minority here, In my view, he was at fault for driving beyond the conditions (ie. traffic volume, motorcycle flanking the center of two lanes with an indicator light flashing) not giving yield to anything that could happen in front of him.

A road rashless learning experience nonetheless, drive safely and live to ride another mile/kilometer
