Woo, I passed mod 2! May I add it PISSED IT DOWN WITH RAIN ALL DAY! lol two minors, one for going 45 in a 30 zone (it was a temp road works one which i didn't notice) And another for missing my turn, it was so wet I missed the road markings :P

Now, what bike do I get? And do I wait until after winter?

Discuss.

Congrats fellah, don't know what bike to suggest to you because I don't know your preference regarding sports/supermotos/etc. Buy now while the winter prices are about, they'll only go up in price as the good weather rolls in.

I'd like to get a sports bike but really am not fussed on getting a supermoto. I have been looking at the Er6n zx6r and some cruddy old 400s that I can use for a few years to reduce insurance xD

congrats on the pass! :D unfortunatly, ZX6Rs are normally really expensive on insurance, but the ER6n isn't normally too bad, failing that, FZ6s are pretty good too :D if you don't want such a new bike, FZSs are allso very nice :)

Well done! Bad weather can be your friend. I managed to lose my examiner 3 times on my test :-)

ER-6n is what I learned on and they are superb. I bought a FZS600 which is also a lovely bike.

New Ride mag showed a 2012 ER6n with 150 on the clock listed at £4500 on MCN. Money wise you get a lot of bike for your £

well done buddy! on my mod two it snowed and hailed and the wind almost blew me over. serves me right for doing it in the fens?!

id always say DRZ, i fell in love with mine and with a butterfly restrictor its only the very top end of the throttle you lose, thus keeping the tasty mid range power that theyve got.

Wow, you did 15 over the speed limit and still passed! What a country!
Can you get an RVF400 on your restricted license over there?

Yep, it was a temp 30 zone. its usually 60 :P and yep, if its 33hp or below or can be restricted then yes :P

Congrats mate, and for sports bike id say any size cbr ( restricted of coarse ;) ) and if your after a supermoto then id say DRZ

Remember, if it aint jap, its crap!

.... Says the guy who chose a Chinese bike over a Japanese bike :/....
