how to remove water from your visor

So many people wipe their visors with their glove and it makes it 10 times worse. Some people but needless gloves with rubber wipers on them and some people already do what I do. But for the (in my opinion) best way of getting rid of water have a watch of my latest video

http://youtu.be/M4Lxbm5yfUE

Also I know someone off this site disliked my last video as this was the only place I had posted the link to my locked video. I don't mind it as its your opinion, but if anyone dislikes my videos, can you leave a comment (or inbox me if you dont want to make it public) the reason you dislike it as I can use any criticism to my advantage in future videos

Thanks, BritishMotovlogger

I didn't watch the video but for £6 you can slide this over your finger & ride with it.

Made of rubber, heavy rain is fine to ride it due to it dispurses quite quickly, very fine rain is the worst.

I hate when people do that. If you hate a video enough to hit the dislike button at least say why. Most of my videos get one dislike right after I upload them. You probably just have yourself a troll. I wouldn't let it bother you.

I have to agree with the video turning your head seems the best way to deal with it, always end up making it worse with the glove, never heard good things about the wipers for your finger.

Yeah turning your head and riding fast enough to let the rain run off. As Azzer said, the fine mist is the real bugger.

It won't necessarily be someone off motovlog, I was checking my wet riding video out and yours came up as a suggestion so it's probably an idiot troll. I also think people should be made to explain why they disliked and I have a few on my help uploads. I used a v wipe for ages, they're good but felt the finger was restricted a little. My glove finger clears the visor enough to get me to work, then I clean the visor properly.

My glove had the wiper built in, works way better than just turning your head.

Does the job beautifully. Turning my head never clears the water effectively without treating my visor with rain-ex.

Youtube should force folk to leave a justification for liking and disliking a video.

Like you and others etc I have the wiper on the end of my finger, works well in heavy rain but useless for mist/light rain. Mix that with night riding and scratched visor and headlight glare.... ugh.

PS: Don't worry about the thumbs down I take em as a thumbs up for jealousy ;)

My winter gloves have a wiper built into the back of my left thumb.. Summer gloves... There is a challenge :D

I watched a surfer give a tutorial on how to keep rain drops off of his go pro - he licked the outside of the casing. So I tried it on my visor. It failed miserably and the only thing I achieved was dry mouth and a dirty visor. ;)

lol. Surely you made it wet by slobbering all over it anyway?

And as for the rubber glove extra thing, I have never had one, but I would imagine doing what I did in the video is easier than using it too?
Just seems a better idea than using one in my opinion

Also for those who havent looked at the comments, RoadcraftNottingham suggested putting furniture polish on the visor too. I dont think I want to try it as I would be scared of it ruining the visor, but thought I would just highlight what he said in case it helps someone

Mines built in, not an extra thing. Works really well in all weathers. Takes only one swipe and I've a clear visor. If I had a camera capable of showing it i'd put up a vid.

Not used an add on clip thing, they look a little cumbersome.

My gloves are Heine Gericke x-trafit pro I think in case you want to look. Waterproof in the heaviest of down pours and with added rubber squeegy :)
