How much time can you save?

A short video of me overtaking/ filtering while traffic was oddly congested on my way home the other day

It got me thinking, firstly, how much time have I saved myself by using a motorbike rather than driving a car and then secondly how many vehicles have I passed in the congestion?

Making splitting and filtering illegal would be the worst thing to ever happen to any motorcycle rider. I really feel for those Australian riders where splitting is forbidden.

I recently did filtering for the first time ever. Scary at first and I think its a bit of a skill you need to learn as to when to go and when to hold back. But it was suprising how gaps appear just when you need to pull into the middle. Might make a video on it from a learner's perspective.

To Shirou: That is impressive, I have to admit I'm a bit worried to lane split like that as I'm pretty new to the whole thing, but I'll get there!

To Gilanguar: I'm rather new too, about two months on 2 wheels myself now and it is very much something that comes with experience. The first time I did it, to just a couple of cars on my daily commute. I was really nervous and almost felt like I had an adrenaline rush as it felt so abnormal to what I would normally do when driving a car

Yeah it really sucks for us.. there are some situations where it is "technically" legal, but then you get shitheads getting angry at you. I have one vid where I filtered on a single lane road (technically legal here) and then the guy I got in front started tailgating me like crazy. + it's my most disliked video LOL with a LOT of comments from people saying I was in the wrong because I was filtering.
