How long does it take you to upload a vid?

I haven't had a problem uploading whether at home or on any of the university browsers I connect to when teaching. My last vlog was 18:12 minutes long/1.41G. It took about 10 minutes to upload and about the same to process (or maybe less). I did this at home where I have a FOIS connection.

Definetly .mp4 is the format file to us.

My upload times are now fast like that, I like it lots. What I hate is my vid rendering time, 10 minute vid might take half an hour for my poor laptop. If I could guarantee a new computer will dramatically speed this up and allow me to edit one vid while I render another I might invest in one.

Apparently, lol. It's not all motovlog, today it's shop and a dog vid. I'm waiting right now!

My laptop takes a bout 15-19 min to render a video (depending on cuts, music, effects etc). I believe that is quite fine and it is like 2-3 year old machine . Generally when i wait for it to render I start working on the thumbnail and description/tags for the video. When I'm done so is the video and I can start working on another one while uploading (If i have the content recorded, which I normaly dont )

Well, now i don´t feel so bad

I won't complain about my speeds then.

Takes me roughly 10 mins for a 5 min video.

So I think I'm doing OK in the grand scheme of things.
