How Far Is Your Commute?

Mines about 20 miles one way and back again, can be extended if I went through the centre of Manchester which I do sometimes just to shake out of the comfort rut I can get in.

About 20 miles one way. Can either take the interstate, which is quicker, or take back country roads that have lots of hills and bends and critters hopping about. I never thought about what would be the max. distance I'd be willing to ride. Maybe 50 miles? I've had 1 hour commutes in the past and thats a bit longer than I prefer.

Round trip is 17 miles. Takes about 25-30 minutes each way. No lane splitting where I live so it's the same as driving a car time-wise, but I still prefer to ride.

Well this is actually a funny question for me since i'm an offroad rider.

Generally I truck my bike to the location. My local riding spot is about 15 miles away and then I ride generally 35-40 miles on average while i'm there. Whenever I go east it's generally at 150-170 mile trip back and forth where i'll get maybe two days of riding in. :D

My commute is around 140 miles round trip. 70 there, 70 back. Currently don't have a bike to commute on but I wish I did! used to do it in my truck, which gets a whopping 15 MPG on a good day (yeah, expensive, over 10 grand a year on gas alone) so I bought a car, and halved my costs.

Hoping to get a bike this year and half my costs again! long commute but I don't mind it.

You might in the winter ;)

haha yes, I still have my car and truck, so if I need to take one or the other I will. Winter i mostly take the truck since im on the road before the snow plows are. and storms up here leave 2' hard pack drifts o nthe highways. so yeah, no car or bike for sure on those days

I have a whopping 3 mile each way city commute. Done in 10 minutes each way. I wish it was a little longer. Still , paying only 200 € a year on fuel is nice.

About 24 km (~15 miles) but most of it is freeway, so I can filter down the middle. (legal where I live)

About 50 miles roundtrip. Out of which 30 are highway in traffic (I-75). I wish there were some rural roads, with less traffic, to take, but my current home/work locations don't allow for side roads without going completely out of my way.

My commute is 90-100 miles round trip... 45 miles one way if I take the back roads, 50 miles one way if I take I-95. Roughly 2 hours round trip.
I think the furthest I'd commute would be 2hours one way. Not sure how long one could last, fatigue wise, with doing that kind of commute on a regular basis...

About 25 miles from home to work and pretty much no traffic to worry about. Just the occasional farmer in a slow tractor.
