How Do You Get People To Find Your Youtube Channel?

Be female that always works by the looks of it, but if you are here to get internet famous your doing it for the wrong reasons.

^^ This is it in a nutshell. Genuinely interact, and then other channels viewers will check you out.
Apart from that make sure you're enjoying it - that's half the battle won :)
 
I am still at 122 subs, Thinking of going Walterrific way of spamming, but in my country people would not even bother to check youtube :(

My target audience is everyone who doesn't already live here, so I can't do the spam card route :p

Everyone who lives here is too busy enjoying the mountains to watch my videos. Plus they all speak foreign.
 
I've decided to just try to release a vid each week trying to keep them under 10 mis.

I know thats around 3-4 times the average concentration span of your average viewer but I think it I make them dull enough, people will fall asleep and then at least its been playing all the way to the end.
 
In order to get people to find you you need to have things in your vid that people are searching for, unless someone is actively searching for a vlog in a certain country chances are vlog vids won't be found by many. One of the reasons the top vloggers get so many view is their access to test rides and the like, people are searching for those new bikes. Tag your bike and all your gear make your vids easier to find. Failing that a viral vid that people share is needed but that's once in a blue moon.
 
Getting people to find it is the easy part. Getting them to stay is the harder part.

I thought I was doing OK then I just looked at my viewer retention and realized nobody really watches for that long.

Think I need to make things more exciting somehow.
 
I have no plan. Just do what you do because you like doing what you do. Don't place such high importance on views and subs.

If you must have the subs and views, perhaps acting like a douche, riding dangerously, being fully vulgar, crashing, getting chased by the po-po, stunting on public streets.

Basically anything illegal I guess. Not saying I support it.

I think the trick is to check if you are interested in watching your own vlog fully after editing it. If not, others won't either.
 
I'd say controversy....being pulled over by the cops, wheelies, doing against the law stuff, interacting with people on the street.....people are noisy, the more places you take your camera the better. That my 2cents...
