Hero 5 water damage?

Anyone else have this happen? I use my 5 usually for non moto stuff and its first trip into the drink caused water damage. Won't turn on, front LCD looked like plaid before it went totally dark, this blows

Not had that issue, but also not used mine in water other than a bit of rain!
