Mr AusAdventure

Adventure is as Adventure does
On the weekend I met up with TheSwiftVlogger, gave him some much needed gloves, briefly visited the beach and then went for a ride in the hills. :D

But, being the fool I am, I forgot to change the settings on my Drift so I took 105 photos instead of the hour or so of video footage that I thought I had captured!

So, the three vlogs I thought I had filmed went out the window. Time to start again!

Has this ever happened to you?

Yes, one day i might put it together, but stills dont tell a story as well as Video :(

I take it you had/have a GoPro too?

Also, what, you came to Melbourne and it was Raining, no it couldnt have been. Not Melbourne lol

Yes, I have a Hero3 as well as the Drift. I use the GoPro for getting footage from the bike facing backwards and the like. I find it easier to tell with the GoPro when it is in photo or video mode due to the big picture on the front. I am normally looking at that when I press start so I can see what mode I am in.

You could probably do a voice over of all the photos. That is pretty much what I did with some of these ones.

Don't worry mate, I am uploading another vlog today of me riding in the rain here n QLD a couple of days ago. So Melbourne is not the only place it rains! Luckily most of my visit was dry, I got wettest on my trip up near Albury and also Glen Inness on my first day!

I was in Brizzy a cpl of years ago, Big bike trip their, Great weather all over Vic, central NSW.
Get to QLD though, well you could almost set your watch to the Afternoon 'Post humidity' downpoor.

Not a fan of Humid weather, prefer it DRY.
Made it ideal for some interesting drifting, through that twisty bit into Brizzy

The summer weather has been a little bit off the last couple of years, cooler temps and lots of constant rain which lead to serious flooding.

Before that you could almost set your watch to the afternoon storms. So many times the day would be hot and steamy, then the storms would roll through around 3-4pm. Nicely timed for when the kids get out of school!

Being a Victorian myself, I found the humidity hard to deal with at first when I moved up here, but now I like it. In the dry winter I don't like how dry my skin feels.
Find myself using moisturiser sometimes!
