Help with tires?

ChaoticTies

Canyon Carver
So, I'm after some new, STICKY tires. Not too concerned with price as long as its within reason. I've gotten used to like $300 a tire for my car so anything less than that is great.

Heard great things about the Perilli Angel GT'S, been thinking about the Dunlop Q3 and Bridgestone Battlax. But I'm not sure how suited those are for the street. I want something that I can be comfortable in a lean with. The stock Dunlops on my R6 have about 1000 miles on them and I'm far from impressed. I've felt the back end get squirly at a lean.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask...

Sorry, forgot to say that I ride my bike prettt much everywhere. But I love to carve the canyons and mountains here locally. So I need something that won't square off quickly.

I Love the Pilot Power 3's. Although I have great things about the Q3's as well. I'm not really a fan of the Pirellis. Never treated me right.

Absolutely aggree with Marbro!!

BattleAxe IMO are the Best all-round Street+Track tyre.
Not sure about the others, but B/axe developed a 'Twin' compund looong ago (soft edge, medium inner) for better wear differences with straight and Twisty riding, wether it be for Road or Race.

Yo may have noticed ima Fan :)
Ive been using 'em on most my bikes since eaaarrrrly 90's, one by day was a Courier bike, then by arvo+weekend go happilly thru the Twisties...been meaning to dig-up the old footage of that bike...oh lots of dust on those tapes :(

I have Pirelli Dragons/Demons?? on my ZXR750, from memory they were a great tyre too? Wear might have been less than the B/axe??

I'd go for the Bridgestones, they make different tread styles and types, depending on Sports/Touring/Race applications.
