I know every one has posted where they mount their camera but for the drift users it shows where i have the mic and plan on using it in that position

Looks like a funky helmet. I've found that the mic position was the hardest bit for me. It sounds very clear at low speeds but as soon as I get quick, there has been a fair bit of wind noise. Difficult to find a place in the helmet that keeps it out of the wind butp doesn't make it sound dull. Good look with getting a good mic position.

My mic is duct tapped into the inside of my chin guard, and I've got good audio from it.

Here is the success that i had with that mic placement with the settings of the drift at 30 frames per second with mic setting at 1 with exposure -1

The placement of your mic sounds great. The hard part is now you don't have to talk to loud. I some times still think i need to talk over the wind noise I'm hearing but its not the same at the mic. To reduce the wind noise even more think about getting a heartier mic windscreen for your mic. This is a great place to get them: www.bhphotovideo.com/buy/Lavalier-Winds ... 4223841579 nice work DK

Thanks for the website I'm defiantly going to look into I'm just not sure if they will have a windscreen that will go on the Drift Mic
